Pain Models

 At APS, we rigorously characterize and validate our models so that you can make informed decisions about study design and collect the most reliable data possible.  Through our validation process, we understand the time course and magnitude of each pain-related behavior and we use clinically-relevant analgesics to characterize the sensitivity of each endpoint in each model.  Our highly trained staff are capable of dosing via standard and specialized routes (including spinal delivery).
